Our organizers are working on the Tastings and Pairings sessions for 2024

These sessions are designed to provide the participants with the opportunity to experience wonderful – and unique – pairings of beverages and foods in an intimate setting. While each ingredient is delicious on its own, in combination, magic can happen!

Session leaders are Stratford Kiwanis Garlic Festival vendors who are leaders in their fields. They provide exciting pairing combinations and explain why these pairings 'work'.

These sessions have limited space and last year they were heavily subscribed prior to the event!

11:30 am - 12:15 pm
Rheo Thompson Candies & Junction 56 Distillery

Rheo & Junction are shining examples of collaboration, using each others products to further their own successes. This unique pairing cannot be missed!


12:30 pm - 1:15 pm
Rheo Thompson Candies & Black Swan Brewing Company

Once again, these local icons will entice your taste buds with pairings of chocolate and beer. Sweet & Sudsy. What a delicious Stratford experience!

Stonetown Artisan Cheese & Black Swan Brewing Company

Please welcome this Perth County Duo as they use their creativity and expertise to pair their finest cheese and beer. Their passion for their products is Amazing!


2:30 pm - 3:15 pm
Stonetown Artisan Cheese & Hessenland Inn & Schatz Winery

Almost neighbours, Stonetown and Schatz will share their secrets of pairing cheese and wine. For these creators, being passionate about their products has been the driving force for their success. Compliments and visits will ensue!


3:30 pm - 4:15 pm
Blanbrook Bison Farm & Hessenland Inn & Schatz Winery

Both new to the T&P, they will present unique products made from locally raised bison paired with Ontario West Coast wines. Rich, rich and rich!

Bob & Frances Latham

Returning for a second year, Bob, an accredited sommelier and Frances, a Stratford Chefs School graduate and former instructor, will demonstrate their expertise in the pairing of food and wine. What a talented team!

1:00 pm - 1:45 pm
Great Lakes Goat Dairy & Maelstrom Winery

These two artisans will thrill you with creamy, firm textured goat cheeses and complex and flavourful wines. What's not to love!


2:00 pm - 2:45 pm
Millbank Cheese & Butter & Maelstrom Winery

These two old friends are the classic example of practice makes perfect. Their pairings will have you wanting more, as they share their extensive knowledge of cheese and wine. Fabulous!


3:00 pm - 3:45 pm
Millbank Cheese & Butter & Munro Honey & Meadery

Both of these presenters, Millbank Cheese and Munro Honey, have been in business for 100+ years. They will offer pairings of cheeses, mead and honey, that will delight your senses of sight, smell and taste. Fabulous and Flavourful!
